23 May NCWorks Career Centers in Mecklenburg County to Consolidate in June
On July 1, 2022, the NCWorks Career Center will consolidate its services in Mecklenburg County to its location at 8601 McAlpine Park Drive, Suite 110, in Charlotte. After June 24, 2022, the location at 7140 Forest Point Blvd. in Charlotte will no longer be operational, and all in-person appointments will be moved to the McAlpine Park Drive location.
This move will allow Charlotte Works and NCWorks to increase and enhance the career and business services provided to Mecklenburg County’s residents and employers, as funded under the federal Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). All services will now be located only seven miles from Uptown in the East Charlotte area, allowing NCWorks to be accessible to clients seeking help with employment and training, as well as the business community. All NCWorks programs and services are offered at no cost, either to the job seeker or to the employer.
