Job-search teams are back at your local NCWorks Career Centers! Job-search teams are small groups of job-seekers who meet weekly to:
- network with each other;
- get resume tips;
- learn proven strategies for a successful job search;
- receive expert advice from a team leader; and
- share feedback about successes, challenges and job opportunities.
Statistics show participants land more quickly due to the structure and accountability of these sessions. It’s a weekly commitment where you’ll work hard, learn a lot and probably end up with a new job for your efforts!

Log in to your NCWorks Online account
Go to the MY CALENDAR widget
Click on the 2nd line of text (“____ UPCOMING EVENTS”) under the calendar image
Click on SHOW FILTER CRITERIA. The LWIA/Region should be set on “Charlotte Works Workforce Development Board.” For Office Location select NCWorks Career Center-Executive Center Dr. or NCWorks Career Center-Forest Point Blvd. For Event Category select “None Selected.”
Click on FILTER.
Choose your desired event and click on it. Confirm date & time and click on REGISTER at the bottom of the page.
