Charlotte Works Joins National Leaders at Skilled Trades for America Forum

Charlotte Works was thrilled to participate in the recent Skilled Trades for America Forum. Part of the Business Roundtable’s national initiative, the event took place on May 27 at Central Piedmont Community College’s (CPCC) Levine Campus.

The forum brought together top CEOs, policymakers, and workforce partners with a singular focus: finding new ways for employers, public agencies, and community institutions to collaborate and strengthen our skilled trades talent pipelines.

Spotlighting Local Leadership

We were especially proud to see our own community represented on stage. Dr. Heather Hill, a Charlotte Works Board of Directors member and Chief Academic Officer at CPCC, served as one of the event’s distinguished panelists, sharing valuable insights on local workforce development.
