NextGen Students Master Resume and Interview Skills

NextGen students recently engaged in a transformative two-part career readiness workshop hosted by Ms. Okemia Porch from Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont at the NCWorks Career Center.

Throughout the hands-on sessions, students constructed professional, tailored resumes and mastered foundational interview strategies. Participants also explored professional workplace attire and put their skills to the test during dynamic mock interviews, leaving empowered and prepared for post-secondary career opportunities.

The NCWorks NextGen In-School Youth Program powered by Charlotte Works connects rising sophomores and juniors with opportunities for career exploration, workforce development, and future success. Find more information here.
