Preparing for higher education requires clear guidance on financial planning. NextGen students gathered for FAFSA Night to complete crucial steps for their academic futures, receiving expert advice and step-by-step assistance.
Timeka Ruffin with College Foundation of North Carolina led the session, guiding NextGen participants through the process of creating their FSA IDs and explaining how the FAFSA form determines financial aid eligibility for colleges and universities.
The practical guidance left a lasting impact on attendees as they learned what to expect when planning for higher education expenses.
“Ms. Ruffin gave a great presentation. It was very informational and helpful…the event helped me realize truly how much it costs to go to college,” said Wilson Orozco Agilar, Garinger High School.
