09 Sep Charlotte Works Partners with AssetMark to Connect Local Talent with 250 New Jobs in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Works, Mecklenburg County’s workforce development board, announced a partnership with AssetMark Financial Holdings Inc. to help connect local talent to the company’s newly announced East Coast hub in Uptown Charlotte. AssetMark, a leading wealth management platform for financial advisors, has committed $10 million to the project, which will create 252 high-paying jobs in the region.
Through this partnership, Charlotte Works will assist AssetMark in posting and promoting positions through NCWorks Online and other workforce channels to attract qualified candidates across the region. Roles include software engineers, quality assurance professionals, customer service and account managers, and other key operational positions. AssetMark is seeking to fill most of these positions by the end of 2025.

The newly created positions offer an annual average wage of $110,000, delivering a total annual payroll impact of more than $27 million to the community.
