HomeWorkforce Providers Council

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Workforce Development Providers Council (WPC) is comprised of 15 organizations that serve jobseekers and businesses in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. The WPC is also an advisory committee to the Charlotte Works Workforce Development Board that provides leadership for local workforce development efforts and collaborates to develop talent, respond to business needs and ultimately increase economic opportunity.

The WPC has an established regional role in driving economic progress for job seekers and businesses in our community. We understand the workforce challenges facing businesses and the WPC is prepared to be your strategic partner in finding talent. Our Talent Source Network (TSN) is designed as a seamless and effective avenue for employers to access a local diverse talent pipeline. Through TSN, we identify skilled talent, source qualified candidates, and support employee retention, advancement, and development.

The Workforce Provider’s Council is here to support our business’ workforce needs while developing talent and removing barriers that hinder economic prosperity in our community.
