Incumbent Workforce Development Grants

Qualified employers in Mecklenburg County can participate in training funds offered through an Incumbent Workforce Development Grant.  These funds can be leveraged by businesses to offset training expenses for skilled positions.  Incumbent Worker training grants target the training needs of a company’s existing workforce that result in layoff aversion through skill attainment for current employees.

FIRST STEP:  All interested businesses must contact Demone Frink at dfrink@charlotteworks.com to receive support for their application.

For final submission, please include two hard copies of the application with original signatures on both copies.  Email one copy to Demone Frink; then drop off or mail hard copies to Charlotte Works 1401 West Morehead Street, Suite 100 Charlotte NC 28208, Attention Demone Frink.
